About Me
Emma - Osteopath
I’m Emma Haywood, I am a registered osteopath based in Fair Oak, Eastleigh. I graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2016 with a Masters of Osteopathy degree with Merit. Since then I have undertaken continued professional development courses to deepen my osteopathic knowledge and further my treatment techniques. Until recently I worked at Stubbington Natural Health Clinic in Fareham.
I have had an interest in osteopathy from a young age. Having watched family members receive treatment and had treatment myself as a child I knew I wanted to be an osteopath for a long time. I was fortunate enough to get a place at Leeds Beckett University and started my four-year integrated Masters degree in 2012.

During this time, I found that I had a particular interest in treating older patients. I found taking the time to engage with my patients provided me with a greater understanding of their needs, while using slightly more gentle techniques to be advantageous to their recovery. Working with pregnant patients is especially gratifying for me, and I enjoy adapting treatments to suit the patient’s individual needs both before and after childbirth.
When I’m not working as an osteopath, I enjoy cooking and baking, growing my own food, and long country walks with my border collie Cooper.
